CNHS YES-O OFFICIAL LOGO

      The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization, established by the Department of Education by the virtue of DepEd Order no. 72, s. 2003, is the only recognized co-curricular organization of DepEd to consolidate all environmental activities, projects, and programs in every schools.

 

        Hence, as 2018 marks the 15th year of the establishment of the program, the Caviteñan YES-O announces the change of its school-based official logo.

Meaning: 

  • The Three (3) students represent the proactive and eco-smart students of Cavite National High School.

  • The torch symbolizes education and spreading of light, truth, and awareness to the members of the CNHS community.

  • The potted plants symbolizes cooperation, hope, and stewardship of Caviteñan Youth.

  • The year 2003 written on the middle pot is the year of establishment of YES-O in the Philippines

  • The Water, Grasses, and Sky represent the environmental elements that has to be taken care of and preserved.

  • The building at the background represents the Gabaldon Building, which is one of the first and oldest school buildings of the school. It also represents the School Administrators, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, Students, and whole CNHS Community

 

     The official logo was created by the mighty hands of the former YES-O President (SY 2017-2018), James Louie Faustino Andeza and was patterned on his winning piece in the Division YES-O Logo Making Contest.

 

       Both official YES-O logos of DepEd Cavite City and CNHS was drawn by the said student.
