OFFICERS CAMPAIGN AGAINST PLASTIC POLLUTION DURING EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

In celebration of the Earth Day, last April 22, 2018 the officers of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) conducted "My Family, My Co-Ecosavers #BeatPlasticPollution".

The organization's officers took a selfie with their families holding their answer to the question "How you will end up plastic pollution?"

"Plastic Pollution affects wildlife, wild life habitat and humans. To avoid plastic pollution, we can simply use eco-bags, paper bags and avoid using straws and plastic bags. segregating and recycling garbage can also help in reducing plastic pollution." answered by Darlene Custodio, Grade 8 Boardmember on her selfie.

This activity is a part of the organization's strong campaign against plastics. the organization is very vocal and active in using social media as a mean of campaigning on its environmental advocacies.
