The CNHS Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) organized a Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Orientation-Seminar during the 2018 Brigada Eskwela last May 31, 2018 at the Global Filipino School (GFS) Room.

       The DRRM Seminar focused on the Implementing Activities of DRRM in the School. Mr. Mark Neil M. Arpon, the School DRRM Coordinator, facilitated the event.

       The orientation seminar aimed to disseminate information regarding the school efforts to prepare the students in times of calamity. It was attended by the students of CNHS, Brigada Eskwela volunteers, and some parents.

       "Nakakatuwa kasi ngayo9n ko lang nalaman na may mga ganitong activities pa pala ang school bukod sa Earthquake Drills para maging handa ang mga anak namin" said Mrs. Bautista, Parent-attendee of the even when asked about her thoughts in the seminar.

        Mr. Arpon, further discussed the planned activities of SDRRM Team for the coming school year.

        "This year mas marami tayong activities na gagawin para mas lalong maging prepared yung mga students natin kasi hindi natin masasabi kung anong pwede mangyari. So mas mabuti na sa lahat ng aspeto handa at may alam ang mga bata." said Mr. Arpon with regards on his team's plans for SY 2018-2019.
